Diet Motivation Drips

To increase your diet motivation, and to become more motivated to diet Motivation Drips can be used well. Use of Motivation Drips for diets has included the following;

  • Using the drips to represent healthy food, for example an apple to be eaten within the "Drip Time"
  • A drip to represent a physical exercise, such as going for a walk before the "Drip Time" is over
  • Drips to represent a low calorie drink, such as water, to be drunk within the "Drip Time" - this will help lessen your appetite
  • Using a "Drip" to represent a physical activity, such as dusting the whole of the ground floor, or just a room, within the "Drip Time"

From Diet Task List to "Drip Time"

So, have you compiled your Diet Task List?

Ensure your tasks are in order of priority - what needs to be completed first at the top of the list etc. It would also help to have an idea of how long you wish each task to take.

Now select a colour you want to associate with a "Diet Drip" task then take the first task and visualise it becoming a drip of ink, floating in the air in front of your eyes, then imagine it slowly (or speedily if it's to be achieved quickly) falling. You set the speed by which it falls based on your time limit for the task.

Now get on with the task, once completed remove it from your task list.

After a couple of tasks you'll find you get used to the concept of focus and therefore urgency - try it out for yourself!

Remember: If you and your colleagues embrace "Motivation Drips", you will be more successful!
